Levison Wood is one of the world’s most recognised modern explorers, known for undertaking extreme journeys to better understand people, places and the forces shaping our world.

Over the past decade, Levison has led some of the most ambitious expeditions of our time, walking the entire length of the Nile, the Himalayas and the Americas, crossing the Caucasus, circumnavigating the Arabian Peninsula, and documenting wildlife conservation efforts across Africa and beyond.

His critically acclaimed television series have aired globally across platforms including Channel 4, Discovery and Amazon, reaching audiences in over 100 countries. Alongside his broadcasting career, Levison is the author of 12 best selling books and has completed five sold out UK theatre tours, captivating live audiences with his storytelling, insight and humour.

A former officer in the Parachute Regiment, Levison brings a rare blend of frontline military experience and modern exploration to his work. He is an elected Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and The Explorers Club, and an ambassador for UNICEF and Leica.
